"Sapphire Sol" is a concept album that examines what it truly means to love. The first track, "Miami" appears to glorify a rapper's lifestyle, only to have a dark twist at the end of the song. From there, the listener is taken on a journey of heartbreak, culminating in the shocking self-awareness of "21 Nights" and "The Heart Part 5". Side Two begins with "For The Night", and sets a tone of fun that is prevalent throughout the second half of the album. "Champs-Élysées" and "Supersoul" finally approach the subject of true love, divorced from hip-hop stereotypes and excesses. "Sapphire Sol", the title track, shows the entire journey of the album in each verse, ending with a third verse about redemption and God. "Sapphire Sol", the album, is a journey of love, loss, and ultimately, self-discovery and growth.
