This Bom Shanka episode features ACT ONE's showcase of his fresh 2022 set! Some new music yet to be released, some known from his album and elsewhere. Act One is the solo project of Jack Allsopp. Hailing from the UK, he studied music since the age of 5 and quickly it became his life’s passion. His first introduction was through the UK drum and bass scene which he eagerly became involved with. He taught himself how to produce and soon got releases on many labels and tracks played by some of the biggest DJs on the scene before he was 18. In 2011 he discovered psytrance at the legendary Glade festival and never looked back. After producing, gigging internationally and releasing psytrance for many years he released his debut full length album on Digital Shaman records which gained support all over the globe. After his CD dropped, and having spent six years working with Digital Shamans, he decided it was time to move on. After a brief hiatus he is super happy and excited to be back ready to shake some speakers with his good mates at Bom Shanka Music.

Jungle Calling is a compilation made by Djs Govinda & Mikel and inspired by the wild jungle gathering we have been putting up in Goa since few years now. After more then 10 years of experience taking active part in festivals like Boom, Ozora, Sonica, Modem, Blackmoon and others we finally decided to open a record label and release music from our favourite artists selecting tracks from the most known ones like Ajja, Drip Drop, Gaspard and Dsompa. but also some emergent ones like Brain jam, Overload and Dimmitrion to give voice to great new artists that haven't been discovered by the audience yet. Andrea Lunghi AKA Dust has been releasing psychedelic trance music since 2008, always keeping on evolving and defining his cutting-edge, broad soundscape from night-time underground full-on tunes to daytime kick-ass dance floor stompers.
His tracks are imprinted with his easily recognizable touch and you can hear them pounding at most of the psy-trance events around the globe. Many releases followed Dust’s debut album “I don’t like psychedelics” on Looney Moon records in 2012, such as “My friends love psychedelics” in March 2013, “Explicit Content” in 2014 , “Hippie Blaster” in 2016 together with Lunatica, “Loonacy” in 2017 with Obliviant , “Wanamatcha” in 2017, “Thirteen” in 2022 and “Always on line “ with Peace-ka in 2024.
Aside from his solo project, Dust has a role in many collaboration projects: Loonacy (with Obliviant), Foam (with Assioma) and Dustinface (with Phase) and Assault Junkies with Peace-ka.
