To Whom It May Concern (Too Deep) Ft MissyMurdrM & seamus Mckenna aka Shay

I was born and raised in Thornton, Colorado. I picked up a guitar at age 14 and I was in a few bands including The Lhymbic System. Band members were spread out throughout Colorado so it was hard to keep it together. While it was active, though, we made alternative indie with a euphoric sound. We had great melodies and amazing guitar riffs. We got as far as performing a show in Nebraska. Which may not sound as huge to most, but it was exciting for us.

Unfortunately, we were so spread out and busy we couldn't keep it together. Damn shame...

I dabbled in other music "projects" with other people, but those never got very far off the ground. One day, I was with some friends and we decided to write some rhymes for fun. It became natural and I started develop a flow. I started writing full songs with another Colorado artist. I began developing my skills, and found my niche in West Coast music (G Funk).

I had written songs that included verses from other artists. I'd booked us for shows as often as I could, which was about once a month. However, most of the time I would end up performing solo and only my verses because I couldn't get the other artists to show up. It cost me shows and time and was very frustrating.

I didn't wait around too long for anyone. I just decided to keep writing on my own. I wrote my first solo song "I Got This" and kept writing until I had enough to perform shows on my own. It was too difficult to get someone with studio skills to help get my songs recorded. My first three songs (I Got This, Party That Never Stops, and The Struggle is Real) were recorded each by three different people and it took two years to get that little bit done.

Recording programs were daunting. But, I had to get the equipment and teach myself how to do it so I could make faster progress. I now have more songs than I have time to record. But, I am working on them constantly so I will have a full length album soon.
