New and upcoming music artist, Tarentelli, was born Christian Smith on May 26, 1994, in Atlanta, Georgia. At an early age, Tarentelli knew music was his passion. Back in 2008, he introduced himself to popular music software FL Studio and found love in creating instrumentals. He then knew music production was something that could make him money. Having faced ridicule for wanting to pursue music during elementary and middle school, he channeled that energy and pushed for his dreams. After graduating from Tri-Cities High School for the Performing Arts, in East Point, GA, he decided to attend Clark Atlanta University (CAU), in the fall of 2012, to major in Music, with a concentration in Vocal Studies.  During his matriculation, he began to perfect his instrumentation by studying his inspirations, such as: Timbaland, Mike Will Made It, Southside and TM88 of 808 Mafia, Metro Boomin, etc. Fast forward a few years later, Tarentelli graduated from CAU with his Bachelor's in Music the spring of 2017. After that, he knew that making a name for himself was long overdue. Praying to GOD, working hard, being dedicated, and talking to the right people is why Tarentelli is driven to be the next great singer/ songwriter/ lyricist/ producer from the Southside of Atlanta.
