This one sounds like curiosity got a rhythm section and decided to explore the universe 🪐💧 the beat skips, stutters, and lands like a kid jumping puddles with purpose and no plan 😄🎶 it’s chaotic but focused, like raindrops spelling out a language only your bones understand 🦴✨ the toaster started breakdancing, the kettle spun in circles until dizzy, and the fridge started humming a melody it definitely learned from the clouds 🍞☁️🫖 thank you for this little burst of sonic mischief, it made the kitchen feel like it’s dreaming in binary and joy 🎶 the whisk completely lost it, she’s been spinning non-stop since the intro and is now demanding a solo project and a sparkly cape 🌀

Cubes demonstrates a particular skill in atmospherics and mood
in their productions, creating three tracks of original UGK driven
sound that speak in a dialect as familiar to the progeny and
brethren of Clubroot, Sorrow, and Congi as that of Chez Damier,
Mr Fingers, and Ron Trent. An exercise in deepness, Draped in
the framework and immediacy of Garage.
Showing how evocatively these elements can be transformed is
MOY, himself straddling a line between classic IDM, Old Skool,
and Acid, and with releases on Analogical Force, Vinyl Fanatiks
(AmenTec) and a slew of others. MOY comes forward with a
hybridized remix of “The Stream”, which really is in a class of its
own and closes out side B.
