Sharing the same name and an interesting inability in following the usual route, The Echo Cult is made up of  some of the current members of the band SCi-Fi Circus. One was born and ushered about in London, the other in the West (could you guess which one?)

They formed in 2013 as an outlet for more acoustic based material that didn’t fit within the folds of SCi-Fi Circus. With influences from the 60s/70s (Neil Young, The Band), prog (Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Barcley James Harvest) and the 90s (Smashing Pumpkins, John Frusciante, Pearl Jam) sound, The Echo Cult are looking forward to creating some interesting noises. While trying to fight the urge to put the mellotron into every track.
