NI THAYU THAYU means PEACE borrowed from one of our local dialects.
The Thayu project is a message of need of self and all peace. The songs are influenced by my upbringing and the culture that was being broadasted on the radio and television trying to relive those moments as a child and bring a new perspective to the Nairobi sound design scene.
I made the project under alot pressure some of the song i had to borrow laptop from friends to make the whole pice to come together. The aim is to have a Nairobi sonically from my perspective to the world.
