This new series on Ballyhoo Records are dedicated to what is supposed to be called ‘triptech journeys’, according to label owner Thee J Johanz.  He’s taking the full range, from the old school sloppy house with the perfect love message from Afrobot and Steven Pieters, to New Zeeland’s finest Strange with his Indian style Charanjit Singh rag reworks, ending with raving madness by Goa’s Deka. On the flipside Thee J Johanz is just adding a nice intro or outro tool, since there not enough good ones on vinyl, Sintaro Fujita is still Ballyhoo’s best Japanese friend with his sharp but mystical vibes and Sid Ua is slow trancing you like a snakecharmer. So here’s a bunch of weird but talented outsiders, but nonetheless some tracks got good support and specially Dance With We was played at many major festivals.

This new series on Ballyhoo Records are dedicated to what is supposed to be called ‘triptech journeys’, according to label owner Thee J Johanz. This time we also have two tracks of his own. Jack the Tripper is utilizing Dutch most famous Synton Syrinx for swampy bubbling filter sounds and a massive intense and hypnotizing drone sound in the background, which is definitely taking you on a journey while the beats keeps grooving you. Daylight Tripper is less dark but has some nice deep acidic sound to keep you going. Upcoming David Agrella from London surpasses himself in his brilliant acidic track Machinery, and Swiss DJ Emotion is continuing this triptechjourney with this extract of a n endless magical jam he once recorded. Good stuf!!

In the 17th Chapter of St Luke it is written: “the Kingdom of God is within man” - not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people have the power - the power to create machines. The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.

Then - in the name of democracy - let us use that power - let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world - a decent world that will give men a chance to work - that will give youth a future and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfil that promise. They never will!

Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people! Now let us fight to fulfil that promise! Chaplin spent many months drafting and re-writing the speech for the end of the film, a call for peace from the barber who has been mistaken for Hynkel. Many people criticized the speech, and thought it was superfluous to the film. Others found it uplifting. Regrettably Chaplin’s words are as relevant today as they were in 1940.

The compilation kicks off strongly with "Uma Batida Do Barulho Dos Passos Do Gato" by Russian producer Apollon Telefax. This playful, hypnotic, and powerful cut takes listeners on a nocturnal and psychedelic journey, where arpeggios dance while bass and drums keep everyone bouncing to the rhythm of the night's energy. We continue with "Space Alarm" by Anastasia Zems, a genuine sedative and mind-bending banger that leaves the audience eager for more.

From Mexico, Tierra de Ovnis presents "Mística," a molten, rhythmic, and fun piece. The rhythmic section keeps us in orbit while the melody transports us through mysterious and distant passages. A-Tweed makes his return to Duro Label, this time accompanied by Oltrefuturo with "Panthera," a lysergic and percussive track. Voices wrap around the audience like luminous trails, while drums and bass keep the momentum.

The compilation culminates with "Parigi Vienna" by Visionnaire, a fresh and resonant cut hailing from Italy. With electrifying bass, relaxing pads, hypnotic arpeggios, and sensual vocals, Visionnaire masterfully concludes 'Muy Duro Vol 11.'

The new 12” series on Ballyhoo Records is dedicated to what label owner ‘Thee J Johanz’ describes as ‘Triptech Journeys’. The series takes the listener on a journey traversing old school house to mystical acid and everything in-between.

On volume 1, titled ‘There Is Power In Love’, side a gives us ‘Afrobot and Steven Pieters’ who deliver the perfect message of love. The artist ‘Strange’ then provides us with his stunning Indian style Charanjit Singh rag reworks. We then have raving madness from Goa’s finest ‘Deka’ whose track ‘Dance with me’ was a secret weapon played at a number of major festivals over the summer.

Flip it over to side b, we have ‘Thee J Johanz’ providing us with the perfect intro/outro tool for DJs (lets face it, there is simply not enough good ones on vinyl!) This coupled with the steady grooving beat will take you to the moon and back. Next up is his track ‘Daylight Tripper’ which brings us a few steps into the daylight with its deep acidic sound that will keep you moving.
