“Don’t Need Much” and The Electric Sons’ previous single, “Real Life,” were recorded in a single day at Maze Studios in Atlanta, GA. The song explores the simple yet overwhelming desire to have it all — a yearning that feels at once like a fundamental human need and an extravagant dream. The pursuit of happiness, lasting love, shared ideals, and a bit of control over life can drive a person mad when it always seems just out of reach.
