soooooooooooooo the good old buddy Russell and I decided to shack up in his previous Berkeley studio to get ancient with my tabla and his piano and horns and write what is known as "Thug Baby'. Times got weird and in fact his studio sadly burned down - a month or so later. However, rising from the ashes, the album survived and "In Love" was released yesterday on Gramatik's Lowtemp label and includes our collaborative track "Thug Baby", as well as another collaboration with the one and only Thriftworks and 13 other original solo Russ tracks.
