Aeon's Fable (Demo)

This is a demo for a new song I've written. Thanks to Jamie Wakeham for provided drums.

It will feature in the first act of the story and will be the penultimate song of the album that will set up the final scene. The two main characters take a walk through some familiar woods and begin discussing their futures, looking ahead and feeling optimistic with what will come next in their lives. It is a fully instrumental piece (in contrast to the rest of the songs which will have vocals, eventually...)

Recorded in 2009. Used a Beringher V-amp for all the guitars and bass. Like most people James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett have inspired my guitar playing, and there's not much better than kicking back to some 'Tallica!

Recorded in 2013 using Reaper, Reason and FL Studio. I intend to eventually release a series of concept albums and accompanying short stories (or novels, depending on the scale of my imagination) based around a science fiction storyline. Dark May is the first EP created for this project, although conceptually and thematically not related to the main story.

Praeludium

I am a 27-year-old musician, I play electric, acoustic and bass guitars.

The Emerald Scale is a musical project I have created, inspired by progressive rock and metal acts I am currently writing a fictional story and working on a set of accompanying concept albums. The story will be non-linear and focus on the idea of paradoxes, slavery and WWII-era imagery. There will also be a sub-story set in parallel universes and focus on the struggle to discover the unknown. Although primarily written with progressive rock in mind, the music will venture into other genres.
