I wrote this song about a friend of mine who had a very hard time dealing with a broken up relationship of 6 years (high school sweethearts). The lyrics are a bit extreme but that was my exact perspective when she told me what she had gone through. I see a lot of young couples in my generation react to relationships this way & though I write songs about these experiences, I hope my niece & nephews don't EVER go through this! LOL
