Passage 41:3 

As it is told, the Boogie Man grooved through the rhythms of time and space, searching. Suddenly, with a boom, kabam, and squam, the Boogie Man found himself in an ancient and foreign land. 

Before him stood great monuments to strange, beastly headed gods, with whom he had never boogied. He could only assume that their foreign magic had brought him to this place. 

Behold! It was Egypt! 

Upon his arrival, his groove and rhythm were welcomed with open arms, and soulful delight. Gifts were laid out for him, and doors were left open. The bronze-skinned goddesses that walked this magical land pleased his sun touched eyes, and lit his eternal flame. 

As his gazing eyes beheld the beauty before him, his groove was thrown off by the forceful grip and stern face of a golden-clad Egyptian. The brute dragged the Boogie Man through the streets to a palace of shining magnificence. No care was given to his divine majesty. 

Thrown before a grand but mortal king, the Prince of Phunk: Guardian of the Eternal Flame, and the Savior of Soul, stood up and dusted off his silken vesture. The Pharaoh sat with sorrowful eyes, but spoke with vicious commands. From his untouched lips came the words of a lonely soul. 

"Greetings, Son of Jiggy. You stand before the greatest Pharaoh the Egyptian Empire has ever seen." 

The man stood from his throne and exclaimed: "Behold! I am Mentuhotep!" 

He fell back to his seat and looked to a point in the distance. 
"For years I have yearned for the gentle touch of a beautiful woman, Tem, the gem of Nile. But alas, her heart does not yearn for me. No amount of power nor wealth can draw her gaze. Desperate, I tasked my priests with channeling the gods, to bring an end to my sorrowful state. After years of few results, you were brought to me." 

The Pharaoh's voice became stern. "You will make her love me, or you will never leave." 

A relieved grin crept across the Boogie Man's face, before he let out of jovial laugh. 

"My man, you've been misled! You see, a woman's love does not respond to the power of demands. You've gotta show your colors to attract a bird." 

The Boogie Man popped his collar and snapped his fingers. With magical enthusiasm, the room began to shake and move to a bodacious boogie-ful beat. Purple and blue hazes swirled around the room as the brothers of bass channeled the eternal groove. 

"Listen here, and watch me move" Said the Boogie Man, his voice emanating from all around. 

"I'll teach you all you need to captivate and charm this fabulous female." 

And so it was, the Boogie Man taught Mentuhotep how to touch the eternal groove and manipulate the rhythms of time. Mentuhotep lived a long and prosperous life, with Tem by his side.
