This was originally released in 2002 on our Slumber Party Massacre EP. This slightly altered version was included on our 2003 compilation album, Slumber Party Massacre II.

Adam Dravian originally wrote the lyrics to this song with the intent of it being an actual slow ballad, but the other band members decided to make it more upbeat. It tells a tale of resurrection and unrequited love.

Ballad of a Teenage Zombie [2003 version]

This was originally released in 2002 on our Slumber Party Massacre EP. This slightly altered version was included on our 2003 compilation album, Slumber Party Massacre II.

This song is of course inspired by Sam Raimi's Evil Dead movie franchise.

The Evil Dead [2003 version]

This song was originally released in 2002 on our Slumber Party Massacre EP. This slightly altered version was included on our 2003 compilation album, Slumber Party Massacre II.

The song is based on a concept Adam Dravian had for a surreal horror comedy movie. It's about simple-minded boy who is tormented by his sister to the point of snapping. He then dons a paper-plate mask with a smiley face drawn on it and goes on a murderous rampage.

Cut You Up [2003 version]

This song originally had a very different chorus which can be heard in some of our live recordings, but I was having trouble getting it to sound good, so I ended up totally altering it.

An earlier version of this song was recorded for the aborted 2002 attempt at recording a full-length album. That version was featured on our 2003 compilation album Slumber Party Massacre II.

It's Raining Blood Tonight

Another of The EverDead's first songs, written back in the spring of 2000. An early version of this song was recorded for an aborted attempt at a full-length album in 2002. That version was included as a "secret" track on The EverDead's Slumber Party II compilation album.

This is one of two tracks for this album that Sam Bones never got around to recording guitars for back in 2005. Toward the end of 2014, Ex-EverDead guitarist Rodney Repulsive ended up recording guitars for us remotely so that the song could be finished.

The Ageless Stranger

This song actually pre-dates The EverDead by several months. It was one of two songs written for our proto-EverDead band, Descension, back in the winter of '99 (the other song being "Cut You Up").

This song originally had lyrics that borrowed heavily from the early Green Day song, "Don't Leave Me," as I had envisioned this song be a modified cover. However, the song ended up becoming its own thing, but some of the borrowed lyrics remained. With this version, I finally took the opportunity to alter the lyrics so that the song could stand on its own.

The song's title was also slightly altered (from "Human Prey" to "My Human Prey") in order to reflect that this version is different from the one featured on the Slumber Party Massacre EP.

My Human Prey

This is another one of The EverDead's oldest songs, written back in the spring of 2000. Originally titled "Mr. Skull," it had always been a part of our live set, but the song never got a proper studio version until now.

The lyrics pay homage to classic slasher movies. Eventually, I was inspired to take the homage a step further by turning the song's concept into a full-length slasher movie script called Samhain Eve. The lyrics of the song were then re-written a bit to conform to the plot of the movie. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to secure funding, so the movie was never made. But elements of the script, including the skull-masked killed, Mr. Skull, have found their way into my '80s-themed comic book, Satan Ninja 198X (which can be read at SatanNinja.com).

Samhain Eve (The Night of Mr. Skull)

This song is mostly known to EverDead fans from our pseudo-official live album, recorded during The EverDead's 2002 battle of the bands performance. However, the lyrics had yet to be finalized at that point, so I mostly sang nonsense.

A rough demo version of this recording was released to the 'net in 2005. Now, finally, the finished track is available.

Zombies in the Night

This song is among the first songs we wrote together back in the spring of 2000. It was originally called "Take You Down," and that version of the song appeared on The EverDead's debut demo EP, "Bone You to Death." I eventually renamed it "Cacodemon (666 SatanBlood)." Finally, for this studio version, I totally re-wrote the lyrics and the song was once again re-titled, this time to "Cult of the Darkest Demon."

Bobby Baron originally wrote this song as a solo effort, recording a 4-track demo with himself on all instruments and vocals. However, he soon decided to make it an EverDead song. For this studio version, I re-wrote some of Bobby's original lyrics, turning it into a revenge story.

Switchblade Life

This song served as an instrumental opener for several of our live performances. By the time I wrote lyrics for it, we were no longer performing live.

This was the only Zombies, Werewolves, & Demons track to be completed back when we first started recording the album in 2005.

Werewolves of the Bloodmoon

The bookends of the album, "Eerie Twilight (Intro)" and "Eerie Twilight (Outro)," were two of the final tracks written and recorded for this release. They were written and performed by Michael Mortis.
