Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria, né le 1er décembre 1949 à Rionegro (Colombie) et mort le 2 décembre 1993 à Medellín, fut l’un des plus puissants barons de la drogue de l’histoire. Fondateur du cartel de Medellín, il a dominé le trafic de cocaïne dans les années 1980, exportant jusqu’à 80 % de la cocaïne consommée aux États-Unis. Sa fortune était estimée à près de 30 milliards de dollars, faisant de lui l’un des hommes les plus riches de son époque. Escobar a aussi tenté une incursion en politique, mais son règne fut marqué par une violence extrême, des milliers d’assassinats et une guerre ouverte contre l’État colombien. Il est abattu en 1993 par les forces de sécurité après une traque de plusieurs années.

The 60's were a good era for 'psychedelic' music - at least, this is what's said. Allow me some visual clanging and flip that 6 to a 9 and talk about the Seattle 90's, also effluent in the 'psychedelic':
