Lyrically, "The Highest" calls battle-worn warriors to continue upward. Through conscious self-improvement, Fowler regains his footing & climbs again. This song was a blast to create! The entire idea came about from a simple conversation regarding daily observations and seeing the decline of western civilization. Not to mention the lack of any sort of intelligent dialogue that seems to escape most people these days. The idea for the chorus was taken from something I observed as I was downtown one day, there was a gentleman wondering, mindlessly muttering BANANANA
