In a collaborative effort, Robert Harris fuses together influences from electronic, dance, and rock music to create a unique listening experience. 

In 2013, The Explanation independently released it’s self-titled debut album, overlooking genre boundaries, the album features several guest vocal appearances ranging from metalcore screaming to euphoric female serenades.

The Explanation presents music in a different light and intrigues the listener emotionally with moments of spontaneity and memorable breakdowns.
