Rossie @rossie_music and Plecta @plecta86 join forces for the first time on Univack to deliver a vibrant and sensorial EP, composed of two original tracks and a remix by Argentinian producer Agustin Pietrocola@agus-pietrocola . “Matala / Cariló” moves fluidly between Progressive House and Organic House, filled with rhythmic richness, sonic nuance, and a strong personality that aligns perfectly with the spirit of the label.

“Cariló” opens the journey with tribal energy, precise percussion, immersive ethnic vocals, and acidic textures that build a bold identity and make an immediate impact on the dancefloor. In “Matala”, the mood becomes brighter, driven by a distinctive groove and bassline, blended with a wide palette of samples, effects, and sonic details that enrich every bar. To close the EP, Agustin Pietrocola transforms “Matala” into a more progressive and powerful version, adding sophisticated harmonic tension—ideal for emotional climaxes or deep nighttime sessions that require direction and depth.

In The Club, the latest collaboration from Spanish producer TecHouzer and Mexican DJ Djahir Miranda, released on Crazy Nutz Music, represents a vibrant and refined statement of Tech House, crafted specifically for the club environment. TecHouzer, a veteran with over two decades in the electronic music scene, is known for his fresh and dancefloor-friendly style, boasting performances at iconic venues such as FABRIK, Groove, and Supercervecería de Radical in Madrid. His productions have featured on respected labels including Hotfingers, Klaphouse Records, Be One Records, and Tribal Kitchen, garnering support from established artists like UMEK, Fatima Hajji, DJ Oliver, and wAFF. Complementing this, Djahir Miranda, a seasoned Mexican producer and DJ with more than 18 years of experience, is distinguished by his accelerated style, deep basslines, percussive drops, and potent synthesizers. Initially influenced by Psytrance luminaries such as Astrix, Pixel, and Domestic, he expanded his horizons to Tech House, Minimal Techno, and Progressive Trance, releasing on labels like Hotfingers, Form Music, Taikkata Récords, and Matinée Music. Supported by artists including Mark Knight, Don Diablo, Popof, and Chris Lake, Djahir has performed at renowned venues including Café Olé, H2O, Pacha México, and WTC México, earning acclaim for his energy and charisma. The EP opens with In The Club, operating at a steady 128 BPM and set in the key of 1A. This track features a driving, dry, and precise kick drum that anchors the production, while crisp snares, clean hi-hats, and subtle tribal percussion weave a dynamic yet minimal groove that energizes without overwhelming. The bassline is fluid and warm, complementing the percussion perfectly. The female vocal repeatedly chants In The Club, treated with clarity and enveloping sound design, forming a hypnotic hook central to the tracks identity. Smart automation and modulation of percussive elements such as toms and rhythmic accents add subtle variations while maintaining a linear, DJ-friendly structure. The mix is clean and spacious with excellent stereo separation and controlled sidechain compression, allowing each element to breathe and contribute to the overall groove. Mastering balances loudness and dynamics effectively, ensuring versatility in DJ contexts from warm-up to peak time and closing. On the flip side, Súbele complements with a distinct vibe at 128 BPM, tuned to 8A. Its rhythm section centers on a dry, firm kick and direct snares, supported by hi-hats generating an agile swing. Additional percussive layers, including organically textured toms, enrich the rhythmic pattern without cluttering the mix. The bassline occupies a mid-low frequency range with a rounded timbre, providing harmonic balance and rhythmic continuity. Male vocals repeat Nothing but a straight devil, serving as a leitmotif that adds personality and presence without excessive processing, preserving clarity and naturalness. The transparent mix manages dynamics and compression to maintain character across all elements. The structures design offers clean intros, progressive transitions, and impactful drops, sustaining tension and energy throughout. Birmingham-based DJ/producer and label owner Ryan Resso makes his first appearance on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax imprint with his latest EP ‘Still Get You’, landing on 10th October. As the label continues to champion emerging and exciting talent from across the globe, offering a platform for producers delivering distinctive, club-ready sounds, Resso - who has previously released on UNLISH, NATURE, Belief, PIV Club, and his own WYLD imprint - brings his sound to the label for the first time with a three-track package designed for the dancefloor. 

The EP opens with ‘Still Get You’, a driving track layered with shuffling percussion and zipping synths that build an infectious, dancefloor-ready feel. ‘Jam To The Beat’ shifts gears with a punchy, rhythm-focused approach, balancing rolling drums, hazy chords, and heavy low-ends, while ‘I Like It’ closes the EP with vibrant, upbeat energy, combining another infectious bassline and hooky samples and motifs throughout to deliver a cut crafted for the late hours.
