A few feet down somewhere, in a dimly-lit but user-friendly ditch between Sonic Youth and Berlin-era Iggy Pop, sat bolt upright wearing 3D Glasses, lurks The Fag Machine! You don't have to get the Lindsay Anderson reference in the title to separate this oddball five-piece from the pan-stick emo-crowd. This is beat-punk of the strangest and most energetic kind. Adam Walton at BBCWales has claimed they; "Evoke the primal spirit of rock 'n roll", and if the recent Youtube clips of their forthcoming debut album are anything to go by (and they are! they are!), life down there with The Fag Machine is about to get a whole lot fuzzier.
