In this purgatory pit,

You enjoy your friend's Zen hideaway,
But before we depart,

I am Jupiter and you're my favourite satellite,
Exerting your iota of influence:
I owe that what you
believed was right,now I know is right,
Yet after just 10 moons,
it seemed the pause had come too soon,
and so for the next 54
I need to grow into me more…

It breaks my heart
to hear all of this from you.
Of course you know what I'm like,
because you're like it too:
We cover up our sadness
with eloquence and wit;
while, frankly, others tend to cover theirs
with various narcotics.

Of all whom have orbited,
along my planetary route,
only you can lay claim,
to complementing my truth.
Only you have been my equal,
you were truly my rock,
as all of this untapped potential,
you tried your damnedest to unlock.

So, I'll make a promise,
to restart what I've stopped,
to rekindle what's been extinguished,
and pick back up what I've dropped.
But this wish is a want,
and just a will of my own,
to be the ruler of my Universe,
as I step up to my throne.

and you’re the stars within emitting light,
and although you may seem cold on Earth,
I've personally felt your warmth,

and though we may seem light-years away,
I feel that solar-flare and rays
but I'll try not to burn,
while all of the rocks still turn...

Two genres in one, but not at the same time.  I really hope you enjoy this song, the bridge in particular took a long time to put together.  I admit there is still imperfections in my work, but its only a demo for a later world shattering professional album.
