You kneel in sorrow at my tomb,
eyes swelling red and wide,
as you lay a flowered wreath of guilt,
and wonder why -- why God took me!

I saw the world through a fog of lies, 
self-hatred and delusion,
but only a child would have come to that conclusion -
and have God take me!

Now, I will always be just another teenage suicide

Now, in the rapture of life 
you sacrifice your own life,
and ask God to take you!

Je fais un parachute, de ma toile cirée,
J’ouvre le hublot, je le vois gonfler,
Je remonte en flêche, vers la voie lactée
Je salue une comète, qui me voit passer,

Mais les écrans s’affolent, je reperds le contrôle,

C’est la panique à bord, quelque soient mes efforts,

Dans un lit trop petit, entourée de harpies,
Qui ne pensent qu’à me droguer,

Why swap support, swap genuine listens, feedback and shares?

We are all competing with tens of millions of musicians; to say it’s overcrowded out there is a huge understatement, and it’s that overcrowding that makes it so difficult to reach an audience—it’s exactly like searching for a needle in a haystack, and who has the time to do that!

That’s why the support of other musicians is so important, that’s why the respect, the hype, the acknowledgement must start with us! When we are so dismissive of each other’s talent, why should a listening audience treat us any differently!   

When we disrespect, dismiss and shun each other’s talent and music, what we are saying to the world is, we don’t waste our time listening to the tunes of unsigned and independent musicians because they are inferior to those signed, established, musicians—it’s negative advertising!

If we are to have any chance of breaking the stranglehold of a mercenary music industry, if we are to have any chance of convincing a potential audience that our music is , more than not, actually superior to signed music, more inventive, more innovative, more creative, more imaginative, and a whole lot less formulaic!

Music has come a long way, it’s never been so diverse, so it’s ridiculous that people are forced to listen to formula conveyor belt music, high on production, low on substance! Listeners have no idea they are being spoon-fed scrag ends; they belief the myth that signed means superior—well I’ve heard enough unsigned music to know that just ain’t true….but we’re never going to prove that as long as we continue to treat each other’s music as though it were worthless! @MusiciansWithVision
