A feel-good anthem for friendship and love, “Chosen Family” celebrates the people we choose to surround ourselves with. That could be blood relations; but it could also be a community of like-minded people, a life partner, a child or children we’ve elected to adopt, or any others who lift us up, inspire us, and make us feel good about who we are.

The Feels is a supergroup of artist friends who come together once to twice per year to write, perform, and play together. The featured Feels members involved in the making of “Chosen Family” include: Annalyse McCoy (lead singer, songwriter), TJ Moss (singer, bassist, songwriter), Ryan Dunn (singer, songwriter), Ryan Guerra (guitarist, songwriter), and Dale Peters (drummer, songwriter).

Chosen Family

The individuals who comprise The Feels came up together as singer-songwriters & musicians in New York City. They eventually branched out, following the roads their music took them. Thousands of miles separated the tribe, but thanks globe-trotting with their music, they always found ways to keep in touch and support each other’s artistic endeavors. Flash forward years later: With the the help of an avid music-loving scientist - a self-professed audiophile and generous patron to the arts - the crew began reuniting every 6 months in San Diego, California, to do collaborative songwriting, share the stage, and wax poetic & philosophical with their scientist friend.

Founding members: Annalyse McCoy, Ryan Dunn, TJ Moss, & Ryan Guerra.

"Chosen Family" is The Feels' debut single. It is set to be released on August 7, 2020.
