Among my long standing investigations is gain-to-grain, granular effects triggered by live amplitude. I've begun using material from the Living Theater film 'Paradise Now' and this track is the first outcome, built from a energetic rant from Steve Ben Israel. On a cerebral bent, it's about extending instrumental performance, particularly improvisation, and building composition from media contexts. And I like the exchange with impactful source material. And it's noisy.
