Donald Trump.  The very name is an omen of dread, whether you’re a black protestor being tear gassed by government agents in Portland, an immigrant being forcibly sterilized in a domestic concentration camp, or anyone on this planet who’s lost sleep as November 3rd creeps irrevocably closer.  I don’t think I’ve ever despised a president more than him.  Even George W. Bush had an element of pity -- the dim bulb who got in way over his head.  But not Trump.  Not after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico.  Not after children in cages.  Not after his bungled response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which he downplayed as “just another flu,” when he knew it wasn’t, and 231,000 people (and counting!) died.  

Most importantly, not after he tainted this country with his corrupt sensibilities.  He made hate and bigotry trendy again.  Who the president is resonates outward, affecting the tenor of the nation and its people, so when we have a president who calls Mexicans rapists, jokes about grabbing women by the pussy, and mocks war vets, the disabled, and his own employees don’t act surprised when suddenly we have armed right-wing assholes sending mail bombs to Democrats and plotting to abduct governors.  Hell, this past weekend, a caravan of Texas Trump supporters attempted to drive a Biden campaign bus off the road and do God-knows-what to the people inside.  And the bastard tweeted his support of their actions!  And all this while he passed tax cuts for the rich and used taxpayer money to pay for his weekly golfing visits to Mar-a-Lago.

After four long years, I'm sick of Trump.  I'm sick of his heartless Eurotrash trophy wife.  I'm sick of his Beavis and Butthead elder sons.  And I'm sick of the blond daughter he wants to fuck so badly.  So, with that off my chest, this week’s show provides the best of The Final Edition’s Trump material, so we can have a good laugh before he’s elected again on a technicality and I’m thrown in a dissident camp for writing this screed.
