OF ALL THE GIRLS THAT HE KNEW AND THERE WERE MORE THAN A FEW.
NONE CAN HOLD A CANDLE TO YOU.
YOU BURN MUCH BRIGHTER THAN THE LIGHTER SIDE OF YELLOW AND ORANGE.

Done It Once Before

The Flats are a 5-piece rock n' roll band with a pop-folk vibe. 

The band's influences range from sixties folk to 70's rock n' roll to contemporary indie pop. With 

2 drummers, the band is rhythm and beat-oriented behind their crafted songs with folk-pop melodies and harmonies. Band members change instruments frequently and there are multiple singers. 

Playing as a 5 piece since 2011, the band released an EP in 2012 and are releasing their full length album April 25, 2015. 
	
They recorded their album "live to tape" at Ottawa's Little Bullhorn Studios with Dave Draves producing. (Kathleen Edwards, Howe Gelb, Skydiggers). Draves records with an old school vibe which suits the band just fine.
