The series will be released over the course of summer and autumn on its KHIDI label The first EP will be released on 26th of July with tracks from James Ruskin, Tensal, Phase Fatale & Reka, and Yanamaste. 

The second EP is out in September and consists of three track collaborations between the club res idents; Ancient Methods & OTHR; Unhuman & Vulkanski; Roman & Boyd Schidt; the last track of the EP is from the club's close friend Silent Servant.

As a well-established artist, Rommek has expanded his own sound, carving his way into the current techno and experimental scenes. His extensive interest in sound design is crafted within the dense atmospheres, heavy broken drums and dynamic tones found within his productions.

Since releasing over 10 EP's Rommek has gained a wide range of noteworthy support, from being played on BBC Radio 1, to many features and reviews in Mixmag, The Wire and The Quietus magazine. In 2018 he was featured within the top 100 globally charted artists on Resident Advisor. Also as a touring DJ, he has played in over 20 countries around the globe. From this, it’s clear that Rommek is driven to continue expanding his capabilities and keep things moving forward.

It is the duo project of Guni Ca and Blak G, from Chiapas, Mexico. They define their sound as "raw & fat", influenced by EBM, Techno and Industrial music.

The work of the Mexicans producers have been released on labels such as Detriti Records, OSM Tapes, Haunted Space, N.I.M. Tapes, Soil, Pildoras Tapes, Miseria Records, Surface Reality, and upcoming music on Intervision Label, SHISHI and Body Musick.

They also own and founded Astro Bar Chill, a club based in Tuxtla Gutierrez, focused on underground electronic music.

This duo is one of the Mexican projects that are progressively positioning themselves in the music industry worldwide.

Awareness XXXIII: DJ Overdose

In the late 1990’s, Mike Schommer co-founded the dub-techno record label Deepchord (along with Rod Modell) in Detroit Michigan. The label was considered by many to be the second wave of the Basic Channel sound and achieved virtual cult status among electronic music enthusiasts. After four years, and achieving far more success than initially anticipated, Deepchord Records wound down operations (five years later, Modell would revive the “Deepchord” moniker as an artist name). For Mike, the rigors of running a new business and raising a family took precedence over the demands of pressing records. Deepchord Records had a fantastic run over the course of issuing 11 sought after dub techno releases, but this wasn’t the end for Mike. With encouragement from Rod and his wife Tarah, Mike enthusiastically returned to producing music in 2017 with a fresh perspective (a positive side-effect of NOT being submerged in the process/culture for 15 years). No longer does he feel the need to adapt his sound to fit a particular scene/style. No constraints or target audience, only heartfelt, unencumbered music that comes directly from the soul.

Recently Grayscale label announces the return of Mike Schommer, after a decade of inactivity, along with Deepchord who made a remix to one of the tracks of his new EP, called 'Come Home'.

After the release of two very well received EPs on Sonic Groove Records, French industrial techno artist Crystal Geometry returns to the label with a full length LP conceptualized as a rebellion against oppressive powers.

“Senestre” is an old French word that refers to the left of a pictured character, a side associated with sorcery, the negation of God and bad omens. It is the side of outcasts and agitators, but only from the perspective of the observer.

“Senestre” is not the left as it is seen, but where the left really is: progress, justice and the rejection of arbitrary rules. Pushing deeper into introspection, the album explores these early influences through a special blend of saturated guitars, mechanical basslines, hard beats and abrasive vocals that directly confront the subject matter.

Stepping back from recent musical trends, Crystal Geometry has delivered ten merciless tracks running through a single conceptual thread, waiting to be deciphered.

Southern italian artist Simone Gatto ( owner of Out-Electronic Recordings / Out-ER ) versatile dj and composer, is an eclectic electronic music activist, specialized in music therapy, who finds into music a dynamic source of emotions, reminds and energy.

Simone’s first contact with music was early in 2004 and since then, he’s been known for globe-trotting around the world to perform quality house and techno shows and managing his own label Out Electronic Recordings with his partner Andrea Santoro.

His Pregnant Void label kicks off 2020 with his third full length album, Harmonic Resonance System 432 Hz. The record marks the first time the acclaimed Italian artist leans totally on his music therapist activities and focusses on self harmonization and wellness through electroacoustic music. This unique record will be available on CD and all digital formats through our channels, but also through the Italian National Association of Art Therapy's website.

Peder Mannerfelt and Malcolm Pardon’s Roll The Dice project embodies the potential of electronic music as a medium for cinematic expression. This was already apparent on their self-titled debut back in 2010, but they’ve expanded on the visual scope of their music with each subsequent release. Fusing classical compositional heft with widescreen sound design and the motorik throb of kosmische music, Mannerfelt and Pardon’s collaborative albums land as cohesive start-to-finish pieces that carve out their narratives in canny blends of organic and electronic source material.

Beyond Roll The Dice, Mannerfelt and Pardon have solo careers that explore even broader realms of electronic and soundtrack music. Mannerfelt has achieved much in the realm of experimental techno, as well as producing for high profile acts including Fever Ray. Pardon’s skills and experience lie in television and film composition – it’s not hard to see why their fusion of disciplines creates such distinct, accomplished music. As their compact but impactful discography to date suggests, the future potential for the project is as open as what has come before.

Who is Toh Imago - the artist behind ‘Nord Noir’? We already knew him at InFiné, but let’s preserve a pure listening experience because now he is, and will be: Toh Imago.

Inspired by Sorj Chalandon’s novel “Le jour d’avant” which describes the dark reality of miners in the North of France’s, Toh Imago dove into the deserted coal mines that surround him to create ‘Nord Noir.’ A hypnotic album that draws a landscape inhabited by ghosts, where harmonic fumes swallow the rhythm of the machines. If you hop into the cart through the tunnels with Toh Imago, it might be a shaky ride.

However, as Daniel Avery or Blawan, our new man demonstrates that techno, in the beautiful and modern sense of the term, often rises from the smoke and ash of the industrial world’s decay.
