Boy Tzortz - Your Smell Is Familiar [RM5]

Coming from his gothic and post-punk roots, the project aims to fuse these influences with shades of electronic body music, martial techno and mystic industrial music, blending together darkness, poetry, existentialism and modern day brutalism.

Questioning the duality between the material and the immaterial, the past and the present, the sacred and the cursed, M I M’s sound is severe and transcendent while remaining danceable and cathartic.

Staring at the Void -his third EP- is the logical following to all of these topics, a dive into the abyss of the human subconscious through haunting basslines, rains of metal hits, screams of despair and liturgical chants.



Joining forces to Théo’s release, we have the pleasure to present three remixes of the EP, courtesy of England’s Randolph & Mortimer, our local’s Toulouse Arabian Panther and from UVB’s side-project Elements of Joy, which presents his first remix under his alias

Fire was once stolen from the Gods, taken from their grasp to serve the needs of humankind—mastered to bring light into our darkest spaces. But to steal from the Gods their very emotions, to feel what they feel…what burning pleasures might that provide?

WIE EIN GOTT seeks to answer that question in the form of the most fire underground music it can bring together under one digital temple roof. The odyssey of Johannes Stabel, the Berlin label was forged within the crucible of Stabel’s collaborative work on his own musical venture XTR HUMAN. To craft such a body-jacking synthesis of gothic atmosphere and dance energy, he was brought into the company of a host of producers, artists and dark-minded individuals. Each burned as brightly as he for that perfect and eternal emotional transcendence to be found within the club, that rising swell from within that seems torn from the breast of Heaven itself

The range between the pain and pleasure maxima experienced plays a huge role in how we are made up of beings and what we have painful or pleasurable associations with plays an important role
in shaping any aspect of our individuality.

Although we avoid pain,
if it is the price paid for pleasure and does not exceed the desired result in its strength, we are ready to go through this pain
and sometimes even love it as a presage of pleasure...

During his career Ah Cama-Sotz has carved a niche for himself as one of the darkest industrial acts around. The past 26 years (1993 - present) have seen the Ah Cama-Sotz sound progress from cold, minimalist electronics through to dark ambient soundscapes and pounding techno floor-fillers.
