Sheol, translated as « common grave of humanity » or « abyss » is the underworld of the Old Testament. A place which all the dead souls go and remain until the Last Judgement ; both the righteous and the wicked, regardless of the moral choices made in life. A place of stillness and darkness cut off from God.

In a perfect balance between forceful distinctive entities, Blime Dust and The Undertaker’s Tapes join forces on a sharp narrative soundscape probing the sinister atmosphere of Sheol.
This first collaboration gives rise to an unique experimental sonic art, in which rage-filled distorted vocals, destructive war drums, harsh guitars or abstract noises provide a performance coming from deep down inside.

Swarm Intelligence continues to push techno into unchartered territories with a bold new self-titled EP and label that launches in early 2022. This Dublin-born artist has already established himself as part of the techno underground with critically acclaimed LPs and EPs on labels like Voltax, 47 and Instruments of Discipline, and standout sets at meccas like Berghain. His distinctive sound comes from over a decade of releases spanning multiple genres and tempos. A resolutely non-conformist approach to his productions has earned him a reputation as a true trailblazer in the realm of techno. He does it all from rhythmic noise to brutal and bleak, and now takes the next step with the launch of his label. Swarm Intelligence will be reserved for his own material and give him full control of his artistic vision across both digital and vinyl. This new EP explores emergent technology and dystopian themes. Autonomous weaponry is hinted at in the title of the first two tracks before the resultant human resilience of 'The Glory Is You,' and finally AI's awakening and gaining of sentience on 'Edge of Chaos'. Opener 'Lethality' is an intense and arresting weapon. Slamming kicks and frosty synths create a wall of impenetrable techno sound that will strike fear into any dance floor. 'Slaughterbot' is just as punishing and dark. Mangled vocals are locked in a prison of caustic synths and tortured drums as a post-apocalyptic meltdown plays out all around. There is subtle drum funk to 'The Glory Is You' that lifts you above the drama. Lithe kicks bring a sense of energy as haunting sequences, bright stabs and fizzing synths weave their way in and out of the mix. The brain-frying 'Edge of Chaos' closes down with monstrous effects, laser-like synths firing across the track and seriously weighty and distorted drums powering things along. Swarm Intelligence is the sound of an unknown techno future made brilliantly real.

After three years in the pipeline, it’s about time for the @KATRAN full-time debut album: Darko Kolar of ONTAL dishes out an instant industrial techno classic, eleven tracks of no-nonsense hard-hitting assaults with four prolific guests bringing their very own sound to extend the musical range of “Above the Concrete“ in a most intriguing way. Expect no moments of rest, surrender to the force of banging repetitive power branded with a brave scrape-and-burn musical edge.
With a new version of his 2019 FORMS OF HANDS compilation track “Mirror Reflection” Darko Kolar dives straight into the driving dance floor material that he has been cutting his teeth on the half dozen KATRAN tracks released so far and takes it from there: Pristine sound design, various flavours of the almighty kick drum and traces of melodic ambience, floating above the industrial shrieks and screeches that litter the album.
The four tracks that have been produced in collaboration promise stimulating diversion: “Isolation” with Spanish DJ/producer SURIT evolves around a slow, pronounced bass line and suggests some deceptive calm, former Ad Noiseam act FAUSTEN tear up the rhythmic structure of “Envenomation” and conjure up chaos, French veterans ELEKTROPLASMA contribute some hardcore flavour to “Disruption” and “Sudden Closure” features noise legend KK NULL with uncontrollable outbursts of industrial debris.
Loop-based, repetitive industrial techno with an edge is a time-honoured and accustomed tradition that HANDS has been fostering since ORPHX’s 1999 classic “Vita Mediativa”, and “Above the Concrete” follows in those footsteps. London's own Depth.Request resurfaces anew with another installment of its warehouse-imperative releases suggestively named Hostile Responses & Provocations. Serving as a conclusion to the series, Volume 3 boasts a welcomed 8 tracks against established 6, clocking in at two thirds of an hour. Contemporary strains of EBM and Techno merging in one solid and varied end product authored by some compelling additions to the label roster; all in all, the selection brings much to spark the interest with. 

On Provoker, a satisfying EBM stomper and a 4/4 tracklist exclusive, MDD harkens to leather-clad and bottle-smash days of punk through direct, assertive pounds, persistently corrosive bass, whiplashing claps and unintelligible vocalizations abraded to din with distortion.

Black Sun Records returns with a monster collaboration from Unhuman & Surit. Unhuman is best known for his contributions on labels such as Instruments Of Discipline, Liber Null & Veleno Viola among many others, his sound running the gamut between noise, power-electronics, EBM & techno; Surit is better known as one half of NX1, recently releasing some solo remixes on his own Nexe Records label and on some others. Together they deliver a powerful 4 track EP, opening with “Moral Poverty”, a perfect driving track with fat bass, metal percussion and layered pads that trap you from the very beginning; next is “Surrender”, a twisted break-cut full of character, complex yet effective, a mind-warping, beautiful journey. Turning to the B-side, the track that gives name to the EP “Impact Bashing”, delivers pure, raw, industrial- techno, oppressive, incisive & brutal. “Precipitated Paranoia”, closes the record, a higher bpm techno cut, defined by the power of the drums and held in tension by jittering, nervous synths.

Nexe label owners, NX1 teamed up with the British techno head Rommek, to configure a pure class and fearless four track EP entitled 'Foreign Bodies'.

The A side kicks off with 'Foreign Bodies 1' , a dense broken cluster of sonics, with fat bass, tense atmospheres and layered whispers that trap you from the very beginning.

Next up is 'Foreign Bodies 2', Razor-sharp and raw, yet hypnotic with a distinct techno pad that cuts through the mix.

On the B side you will find 'Foreign Bodies 3' that holds the tension. Electrifying synths and percussions, bold and powerful with an industrial feel.
