Our first session in the studio - on Feb 24 - resulted in the first release from FNP. The stem for the track was residing in mastermind Alex G's head for a couple of months, but only one studio session of 4 hours to produce and mix. 

The track features a memorable trance hook which is repeated over an ambient back-drop, which explodes into a rhythmic and intense climax. If this track is anything to go of for the future, one can expect more ambience to come, and harder drops. The use of extremes between drops and builds is one which instantly sets this group apart.

The Friday Night Project is the creative blend of two minds in Brisbane, Aus. After the working week is done, FNP spend a few hours in the studio with one goal: Finish an EDM banger in one session.

Song stems are written by Techno and Ambient Electro lover, Alex G, which are then produced, mixed and mastered on the fly by hard-ambient producer Ted van Jûn. The result is a hard hitting EDM sound which is inspired by producers Jon Hopkins, Odesza, Blackmill and everyone in between.
