Funk Effect, is a French bass music trio comprised of two DJs and one MC.  All three are producers who share the same love and work for hard hitting beats and grimy bass. The band Funk Effect was created early 2012 and in the last year has make a huge mark in France with many tour dates all over the country and growing support in the American scene as well.  Their debut release on Heavy Artillery entitled the Get Down EP showcases the guys finely tuned talent for creating killer club anthems that tear clubs up! “Sleeper EP” is the successor to Isqa’s “Melancolor EP” which released on DUSTLA back in June 2014. When it comes to quality, “Sleeper EP” doesn’t just exceed the standard of other EPs on the market, it destroys them. Isqa comes out of the gate swinging with “Push”, the first track on the EP. Filled with heavy sounds, glitch effects, and well-mixed melodies, the song will make you think twice before skipping to the next track in your Soundcloud stream. While “Push” is filling up the dance floor, “A10” will get you up out of your seat to dance at home. Isqa will amaze you with funky bass lines and rhythms, showing off more of Isqa’s many musical abilities. To be able to make people feel a spectrum of different emotions in one EP is something most producers can’t do. Speaking of different emotions, “Haunting You” is another story entirely. The creepy intro filled with atmospheric sounds and effects presents a drastic change of mood, but don’t worry…because the drop has yet to come. It will come from the shadows, leaving no trace of its path, and no mercy in its brutality. I could talk about sound design all day, but it’s Isqa’s use of silence that really makes this track a force to be reckoned with. In between brutal bass lines, Isqa uses silence and atmosphere to make your imagination run wild. Last but not least, “Sleeper” steps up to the plate. This is a perfect title track for this album, because it shows off all of Isqa’s talents in music production. Using little melodies and effects to fill the intro creates a great contrast between grace and filth, beauty and beast, the intro and the drop. Hard-hitting synths will shake your speakers and your body, be careful with the volume knob! Prepare your ears for amazement, because Isqa’s “Sleeper EP” is coming to you October 3 on DUSTLA.&#13;

Mizuki - Finishing Move (2019 'More Guitars' VIP)

Only 22 years old and The Frim, aka Nicholas Friml, is already taking the dubstep world by storm. Although young, The Frim has been producing all types of music for over 7 years, finding his passion with dubstep and it's subgenres just three years ago. He was on the massive 2012 Firepower tour across the US alongside Datsik, Terravita, XKore and Getter, and the 2013 Most Wanted tour with Datsik, Funtcase, Antiserum, Mayhem, and Protohype. His intricate and unique tracks have been finding their way into sets by bass scene heavy hitters such as Skrillex, Bassnectar, and Excision just to name a few. Not only a very talented producer, The Frim knows how to throw down on the dance floor. He radiates energy and the audiences can’t help but feel infected by his enthusiasm behind the decks. The Frim is one to watch!
