This album is a seqel to "Phosphorescence" and has a more structured theme to it than its predecessor.  While the intent is the same  to provide a backdrop for relaxing experience and possibly to also induce sleep, the theme is more representative of music for a documentary about landscapes, which are subtly described in the track titles, with "Glimmer" and "Glass" representing the jumping-off point and return from the journey, respectively.  "Glass" is an achievement here in creation and production of a melody so delicate, I felt like it would break if I turned it up too loud.  This is arguably my favorite recording of mine up to this point.

Production - this album saw me employ a more straightforward approach to track layering, and you will notice a serious shift in how the layers relate in comparison to the previous.  This is a pseudo-mono recording, in that while this is a stereo recording, all tracks are centered between the two channels, rather than panned to the right or left.  This creates a slightly more claustrophobic production wherein some sounds may get lost in the mix or become something new as other sounds collapse onto each other.

I like to make ambient music and rock music, and some weird combination of everything in between.



Everything on every song (with a few very rare exceptions) was done by me!  I play guitar, banjo, and whistle, and ukulele.  I have a drum machine.  I do the singing even though I probably shouldn't.  I make all of the songs in Audacity.
