Description: My submission for the KVR audio forum "One Synth Challenge" #155. All sounds made with the Korg Prologue 16 analog polyphonic synthesizer. Mixed in Reaper.

Very good track, with a nice, calm, almost 70's sound to it! My only complaint is that it was a bit lacking in effects, although that's more of a personal taste thing.

The composition is well done! The instruments are maybe slightly on the bland side, not _bad_ but could be made more exciting, maybe with some automation - not sure.

I wish I knew more about these hardware synths to write more useful comments. (Ditto for soft synths.)  For example, somebody else mentioned automation --  can hardware be automated from a DAW track nowadays? In any case, it's a nice sounding thing, and glad to hear your track.

Definitely one from the 70's (spoken by an old prog-rocker!). I agree the rest of the "band" needs to be emulated as well.

The mix could be better done if it was mixed to sounds like a performance in a small hall as was the thing in them thar olden days!

Nice chord progression in this section. Seems quite intentional.

I'm really liking the ideas and melodies you have in this piece overall. Part of me wants a bit more development and dynamics, but that's a minor gripe on my part.

One Synth Challenge #155: Any One Synth

A colorful track with many faces showing the versatility of this little synth, which was my idea (very well programmed by Björn of fullbucket.de!). 
It is my contribution to KVR's One-Synth-Challenge #147 and made with the great DAW MuLab in the latest Beta.
I used 12 instances of MPS plus Classic Delay (2x), Abstract Chamber Reverb (1x), Widener (2x), LoudMax (2x) and MuLab's integrated EQ (3x) and M/S (3x). Finally 1x M-Horse in the Master-channel.

The FM synthesizer OPNplug by jpcima is a simulation of Yamahas YM2612 chip which was mostly used in Sega's Mega Drive/Genesis/Doraibu console end of the 80's. This one and his brother ADLplug are available here (Win/Mac/Lin/Source): https://github.com/jpcima/ADLplug
