We kick things off with a killer mashup that fuses “Rapper’s Delight” with CHIC’s “Good Times”, courtesy of Ivan Jack & Master Mike — a nod to the birth of hip-hop and disco’s golden groove in one seamless jam.
Then Ken@Work steps up with a slick remix of “Good Times”, reshaping a classic into a strut-ready roller.
The fire continues with Purple Disco Machine, Benjamin Ingrosso & Nile Rodgers on the outrageously funky “Honey Boy (Extended Version)”.

Also expect my remix of Jamiroquai – “Space Cowboy” (The Funk Assassin’s Synths In Space Remix)—galactic funk for bodies that don’t want to land. We start off in funky Amsterdam where you will be taken on a journey through the sounds of the mega funky Dutch Psychedelic Funk scene from the late 60's into the 70's and early 80’s pushing the boundaries of the analog sound; completely way ahead of it's time, you have to listen to believe it. 

The depth on the bass in particular is extraordinary.

Expect ridiculously funky beats and bass lines with a myriad of trippy organs, sexy flutes, sultry sitars and tight percussion.

The genre referred to as "French touch" also known as "filter house" and "tekfunk", will be the main focus in this mix.

The defining characteristics of the sound are heavy reliance on filter and phaser effects both on and alongside samples from late 1970s and early 1980s American or European disco tracks.
