This year at Burning Man we were gifted an incredible opportunity by our friend The Festival Guy to perform a secret set at Camp Ego Trip as Daft Punk - complete with helmets and all! We had 45mins to put our spin on things and somehow managed to keep it a total secret this entire time. Easily one of the coolest experiences we've had after 3 years at the Burn and being DP fans for as long as we can remember. This remix has been a special one for us. We came up with the concept and created it entirely on the road during the Canadian Ghetto Funk tour last spring. While squished together in the back seat of a small car winding through the Rocky Mountains and powering three laptops off one inverter, we found just enough elbow room to combine our skills and mash out this extremely catchy tune straight from the late 90s summer charts! It quickly became a staple set-closer for many JPOD and Funk Hunters sets and it's been a real treat to sing along with you at the end of the night whenever this gets dropped. We've received a great deal of requests for this remix, so we're happy to finally let this one loose as a Thank You gift for all the amazing support this past year!

And Smith anchors the project’s live show with an indefatigable charisma that compliments Middleton’s thoughtful production.

Their vision has resonated with both listeners and industry tastemakers alike, with their music amassing over 50 million track streams across their catalog of original productions, remixes and collaborations. Winners of the Electronic/Dance Artist of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards, The Funk Hunters also reached #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart with an official remix of U2's "Love Is Bigger."
