16/12/22 The Gabriela Show Twenty Four

We're on Week 25 going strong! This week was very very close to Christmas (for those who celebrate) and so we had to keep on brand, on theme with seasonal, holiday anthems, for example 'Falala' by Justin Bieber ft Boyz II Men, one of my fave records from the 'Mistletoe' album. We of course also played some upcoming bands/artists (it wouldn't be my show without them), including Night Life and Kid Brunswick. It was such a fun week! Hope you love love love ;P

23/12/22 The Gabriela Show Twenty Five

Show 27 baybeeeeee, this week (after having seen her open for Upshal not long before) I had 'Till You Hate Me' by Eyelar doing the circles in my smol brain - as it should though its a banger. We also played upcoming artists Last Youth with their record 'no i can't', and Royal Sugar, with their record 'Fleeting Love' two absolute bangers that you need to be adding to the playlists stat.

CAN I GET A WEEK TWENTY EIGHT!!!!!! 
This week we played 'Beautiful' by upcoming band Mood Monroe, as well as 'Start It Over' by another upcoming band; In Motive, both records are stunning and we stan them. I didn't have a song doing a loop de loop in my head in particular this week, she was too full to pick just one, but we of course had our eclectic mix of all the music.

Show 29 ALERT besties. This week our top three were all women in stem, women in music, with some lovely RnB vibes.We played upcoming artists SIM andAngelic Montero with records that I have stuck in my head TO THIS DAY, we also played 'Last Love' by Sinead Harnett, a record which is absolutely stunning and a record I always go back to.

20/01/23 The Gabriela Show Twenty Nine

This is show 30 babyyyyy. On this weeks show I had 'Heaven' by Vaines stuck in my head, a gorgeous love song from an upcoming artist that I had previously played on the show - and the beginning of a bit of an obsession with his music lmao. I also played upcoming artists Dog Trainer and Cook Thugless, two records by the artists which I greatly enjoyed.

Show 31 baybeee, and this one features an interview from the incredible Mikaela Cougar! I began the show with upcoming artists Erika Tham and Isadora, two amazing women in stem (in music) as well as ‘Dead Body’ by Call Me Karizma which had been stuck in my head all week. 
For the second half of the show we had a cheeky interview with Mikaela Cougar which was incredible fun!

03/02/23 The Gabriela Show Thirty One (inc Michaela Cougar interview)

This is my full interview with Mikaela Cougar, in which we spoke about her influences such as Alanis Morissette, opening for Miss June, and The Narcs and her dream of opening for Yungblud, as well as her new record (at the time) 'Outwit You'. I loved having her on, her perspectives on the music industry as someone from New Zealand, which is fairly isolated, were so interesting!

03/02/23 Full Michaela Cougar interview

WEEK THIRTY TWOOOOOO!! This week ,we played 'Too Late' by Sza (the Sza obsession was REAL and present the whole of 2023). We also played 'Gemini' by American Teeth, a super unique record with these incredible dystopian synth melodies and an insane bass, as well as Sunsleep and their record 'New Sensations' - one I am very much still obsessed with, I love the kick that comes with this records chorus.
