Liquid Funk Drum and Bass - Vibration Sessions - July 2020

Galactic Funk (a.k.a Ziloub) est un DJ des débuts du mouvement "Raves" en France, dans le milieu des années 90.
Originaire du 94, il sillonne les 4 coins de l'hexagone avec le collectif "Corrosive Sound System" (sound system français de musiques électroniques), distillant des djsets acid Techno puissants et techniques, en raves comme en club (au mythique Gibus à Paris).
En 2000, il rejoint également un autre mouvement en pleine effervescence à ce moment-là en France : la jungle / drum&bass. Sa rencontre avec un des premiers labels du genre sur Paris, Audiovenum Records, le propulse sur la scène parisienne (Rex Club Paris, le Nouveau Casino, le Glaz'Art, le Tryptique, la Flèche d'Or...).
Fervent défenseur de la Techno, comme de la Bass Music, il intègre le collectif allemand Elektrotribe ainsi que le collectif français Frenchbreaks, et entame alors de nombreuses tournées à l'étranger : au Mexique, en Pologne, en Irelande, en Suisse...
Il s'installe près de 2 ans au Mexique, où il compose / mixe et joue avec les crew drum&bass les plus influents du moment à Mexico (Konami et JungleEmpire), et se pose ensuite 4 ans en Suisse pour participer à de nombreuses soirées mensuelles techno et drum&bass, au Le Zoo / Usine , ou encore au MaD.
Arrivé depuis plusieurs années à La Réunion, il participe activement (de 2014 à 2018) à l'émergence du premier festival des musiques électroniques de l'île, les Electropicales, et y joue 2 fois sur la grande scène aux côtés de Jeff Mills, ou de ses compères Niveau Zero et Missill.
Passant de la techno à la bass music, toujours avide de nouvelles sonorités, il distille depuis ses djsets dans les clubs et salles de l'île, et joue également aux côtés d'artistes tels que Breakbot, Dj Netik, Tha Trickaz ou Elisadobrasil (Kabardock, Palaxa, Choka Bleu, Souris mékanik,...).
