What can we say!!!! He did it again. What an in-cre-di-ble set yet AGAIN. Heimlich took the stage on a staggering 124 bmp and dropped us into a deep and downtempo mood that was simple perfection. We remember arriving at the set, unsure for a split second who was on again and then of course remembered this must be the one and only: Heimlich Knüller.

We kick off with one banging set created by two specials that are very close to our heart. Omer Tayar and Landikhan have found both friendship as well as electrifying stage chemistry after meeting just little more than a year ago. The B2B was first discovered by WooMooN's Angie and already at a peak when they took the stage during ADE.

Playing is always a pleasure.  
Playing an opening slot is a special place.

The room is still emptying its thoughts, people are arriving from different worlds, and the dancefloor hasn’t decided what it wants to become yet. 
You don’t push it, you build it.

My sound has been shifting lately.
After years exploring downtempo, a genre I still deeply love,  I feel myself returning to where it all began: minimal house and techno with a downpitch signature.

The palette stays familiar: deep and hypnotic grooves, bass-driven tracks with a slightly dirty psychedelic edge, and minimal textures that keep the tension subtle but constant.

The Gardens of Babylon has been a special place along this path. It held me during one of the most fragile chapters of my life. And now, in another moment of transition, it appears again, reminding me that music has a strange way of bringing us back to ourselves.

Two weeks before this set, I was spending my days in the ocean swimming with wild dolphins. When you spend that much time in the water, something shifts. The rhythm of the sea stays somewhere in your body.

So as always, if you listen closely, you might hear them.

Hidden between the tracks:
orcas, dolphins, humpback whales.
Voices recorded in the wild, quietly woven into the mix.

A small reminder that the dancefloor is also a living ecosystem.

Endless gratitude to the Gardens of Babylon family for the trust, to every dancer who stepped into the journey, and to the producers whose music made this set possible.
Without them, there is no set.

It took us nearly two years to bring this magical being to our stage. Two years of persistence, patience, and an unshakeable belief that the right music is worth waiting for. We live in a world where borders and passports can limit movement, but they will never limit the power of sound and so, at The Night Sky '25, Lara, known to many as Walashi, stepped forward and delivered something we will never forget.

Her live set was everything we believe music should be.

Some names need no introduction inside these gardens and ARC is one of them.

With us since the very beginning, ARC is more than a DJ. He is started as family. We have had the privilege of watching him grow, evolve, and find his own voice behind the decks and every time he returns, he reminds us exactly why we love him all those years. 

His return under the open night sky was nothing short of perfect. This is what Babylon is built on. Music that speaks straight to the soul. Welcome back where you belong darling.

Nasiri is one of those rare souls. One of our most beloved talents, he arrives on stage the same way every time, with a beautiful smile, an array of instruments, and a warmth that fills every corner of the garden before he plays a single note. His music is a journey. Woven with sounds from the Middle East, each set feels like a passage through ancient landscapes, open deserts, and starlit skies. Melodies that feel both deeply rooted and boundlessly free.

We share this set at a time when his homeland is burning. When the news is heavy and the world feels fractured, music becomes something even more essential. A reminder of our shared humanity, of beauty that cannot be destroyed.

The Seekers of Light ADE '25 - Nasiri

The discription should be: “The Smooth Gardens” is a sensual and groovy track from the brother duo @parallellsofficial and @abundance-live in which they combine many instruments and organic sounds to Thomas from @parallellsofficial' crooner voice.

The EP refers to The Gardens of Babylon movement in Amsterdam, who redefined the music and event experience. It is a family where all of the EP’s artists are part of.

The inspiration also came during Amsterdam Dance Event. A week filled with musical influences. In that sense, The Smooth Gardens is a hymn to dance, where the smooth groove of the track is slowly reaching parts of your body and is leading them to move, sway and dance.

The EP includes two powerful remixes. The first one is from the couple duo @kmln-berlin bringing a rhythmical edge to it. The second one is from @noraj-cue and @undersmusic bringing a powerful clubby vibe. No doubt both versions will shake the dance floors!

We witnessed how he controlled the crowd in ways we can't explain, we saw an intense ball of energy grow exponentially with every second of his set. We danced like there was no tomorrow.

Mira: "For the past ten years now, I’ve celebrated my birthdays by inviting all my favorite cats to play – we started off at Kater Holzig before moving to our home at Kater Blau in 2015. For the first time since it started, and for obvious reasons, 43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch won’t be happening, on what would have been the tenth anniversary of the series. I’ve been wondering for a while now how I can make up for the missed year - streams already feel a bit outdated, and you just can’t imagine the vibe of the event without actually being there, getting beautifully lost in those days and nights, hugging old friends and making new ones. You can’t even explain that feeling, so you definitely can’t live-stream it.

Instead, this year 43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch will be a compilation of some of the amazing artists from the past ten years, and even some of the new faces I would have booked this year. In a way, it’s the perfect souvenir of all the nights we’ve had so far, and an idea of what to look forward to in all the nights to come at Kater Blau somewhere in the future.

The compilation will be split into two sections: Heinz Hopper and Acidbogen, reflecting the two floors of Kater Blau, each with their own special flavor and sound. The whole record is programmed the way I would schedule the artists across the two floors for my birthday, warming up at the start before things start getting more intense later on. I guess you could say it’s a concept album, in which the audience
wanders into our lovely little circus on the river Spree, and experiences one of my birthdays from start to finish, split across both floors of Kater Blau. Much like my parties and my sets, the idea is for the listener to get lost in these tracks and to experience them as a whole piece. At the end of it all you leave with a feeling that maybe, just maybe, cats & music were the answers after all. Even in times like these."
