I love pitch bending. That always makes me think of being pulled through time distortion (and makes my heart race a bit). Lol.

I noticed a few of these latest pieces lack vocals. Either I'm not paying very good attention, or that's a bit of a new variation for you? (or you just have a head cold right now? haha.)

Trippy, mind melty electronica, with some of your more signature organ sounds. Nice combination. :)

Cool sounds,prduction and instrument selection

Having a little fun with my new Nord Stage 3 - all sounds except the percussion are native to the Stage 3 (synth and organ engine). No sequencers were used, but I did enjoy using the pitch stick.

Thinking a bit about a Black Swan event as I produced this, the 1st half representing life as usual, the event as a synth "solo" and the altered reality afterwards. Towards the end I was inspired somewhat by the soundtrack to Dunkirk as the planes harass the troops on the beach and I have to admit that Vangelis Chariots of Fire was on my mind throughout the track although I skipped adding any piano.

A black swan is an unpredictable event that is beyond what is normally expected of a situation and has potentially severe consequences. Black swan events are characterized by their extreme rarity, severe impact, and the widespread insistence they were obvious in hindsight. [according to Wikipedia]

In the last period I worked a lot on things written some time ago, so I had not composed anything new for a few months and, as always happens in these cases, I was a little afraid of having run out of creative vein. That's why, with this new piece, I'm happy and ready for the next time when I'm definitely going to ask myself, once again, "oh my god, is this over?" :)

This is an afrobeat song that I came up with based on a beat I boosted from BandLab. They have all kinds of great beasts on there, btw. Anyway, I sent it halfway around the world to my friend Mikey McFaffington in Australia. he proceeded to summon his magical saxophone throughout the song, bringing it to life. We both had a lot of fun making this one, and appreciate you taking the time to read this. I'm playing bass, guitar, electric piano, and synth horns on this one.
