Born in Victoria BC, The General is a young artist started Djing in high school and now rising through Victoria's nightlife district. With heavy influences coming from the likes of Tiesto, Calvin Harris Dj Jazzy Jeff prepare yourself for a unique and eccentric style which will guarantee you an unforgettable listening experience. 

Starting at a young age with just one CD-J he has gradually expanded his knowledge and style to a whole new level. Over the years he has acquired and mastered a virtual sound and lighting system many couldn’t compare too. Motion invested heavily in the sound and visual aspect of his DJ sets, including a mesmerizing themed laser and light show. Experimenting with his music more and more Motion can cater to any crowd with an overall good vibe.

The General as progresses in turntablism (juggling and scratching) with countless hours he spends in his studio and the mentoring he receives from Troy Wilson aka T-bone and DJ Anger.

The next step for The General in the Entertainment World is understanding music from it’s roots and that’s why he has made the big decision to move to Vancouver for the upcoming year to take the Audio Engineering and Music Production program at Harbourside Institute of Technology which is mainly focused on production. The General said "I really need to focus on what I love doing, performing in front of huge crowds and make the best music dance".
