At the age of six, I can remember having my first encounter with music. Growing up with parents who surrounded themselves with music, my heightened musical interest was to only be expected. Radios seemed to play a significant part in my every environment. In the house, in the car, and even when we were dinning out music was always there.
My first initial step to figuring out where I stood in music came through challenging myself to play a song on my piano that I had heard on the radio earlier that day. The melody was so catchy that I developed this unusual feeling that if I sat in front of a piano my finger would effortlessly guide me, and they did. From then on my mother started to brag on me to all her friends telling them that I had the gift of playing piano by ear. However, this was no surprise to my grandparents who both also possessed the same skill.
As I got older I continued to play piano more and more and eventually enrolled into a music program at Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts. After completing the program my musical interest elevated even more into the broader realm of Media Production.
After graduating high school I enrolled into American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, Georgia where I became knowledgeable on more of my abilities such as music software, video editing, various camera techniques, pre production, and post production, just to name a few. Due to the skills I have accumulated year to date, my entrepreneur mindset has awakened within me; motivating me to continue my journey by educating others about the intriguing world of music.
