Welcome to Redshifter - the first-ever collaborative album from RAN (ransynth.bandcamp.com) and Pashang爬上! This album is a love letter to the incredible sci-fi of the 70s and 80s, Choose Your Own Adventure books, and all the wonderfully creative bits of nostalgia that made us what we are today. After 3 years without touching an instrument or writing a note of music, I was digging through the virtual crates of digital tracks I have half-finished, when I uncovered this diamond in the rough.  Several years ago I composed a track inspired by my friends and frequent collaborators, First Impressions; I sent it to those guys, and they added a bunch of their own brilliant magic to it.  I'd been holding onto it for an album, but I think you all deserve to hear it now...

The Ghost Mall is a musical journey back in time to when feelings were painted in neon, heartbeats kept time with drum machines, and we met at the mall.

I was born in 1980, and grew up dancing in front of MTV, or the jukebox at the corner soda shop, to everyone from Naked Eyes to Madonna, The Human League to Hall and Oates.

The Ghost Mall aims to bring to life nostalgia for those days...
