Recorded at Roc 2 studios in North Wales with Producer Marc Joy whose credits include Oasis, Primal Scream, Golden Fable and Light That Change.

ALICE is inspired by a rural adventure powered by natures bounty. Locked into Lewis Carrols fantastic tale Alice in Wonderland, old folk stories from the forests and hills of Scotland and Wales. Finally, taking solace in the words of the late Bill Hicks we need to remind ourselves that everything, is going to be O.K AND that it's just a ride.

The second single from our double launch is SEAGULL. Inspired and crafted from a R.L. Stevenson poem written in 1880 about desire, intuition and being unashamed to follow your instincts. Based in animism musically driven by tight drums, bass and a love of C.S & N style guitars. SEAGULL asks us all to "Hie away to sea"...

Folk, blues, pop, storytelling this E.P. has a mix of everything. Old Man the title track is based on Ernest Hemingways short novella about man's battle with nature. Fitzcarraldo is about the man made famous in the film by Werner Herzog. He wished to build an opera house in the Peruvian Amazon and with no money or resources shipped the marble from Italy. Ultimately a song of celebration in what we can achieve under any circumstances. Our Time is a song about all night festival parties, no further explanation needed. Lastly Jim Hawkins, named after the young adventurer in Treasure Island. It's a sea shanty but instead of being faithful to the tale we decided Jim would be better as a buccaneering pirate drinking rum and getting covered in tattoos.
