On this glorious Sunday we welcome Oisin to the series, supplying us with a smooth hour of spacey and far out beats. Expect an extraterrestrial housey groove loaded with matured wafters from the 90s, with tracks from the likes of Juan Atkins, Santiago Uribe, Bicycle Thieves and Shades of Black. 

Oisin is a Dubliner DJ, now based in London, who plays a wide variety of styles which are showcased in the diversity of his shows on Alto Radio and Brixton Radio. From little-known UKG gems to dark 90s electro, Oisin’s mixes always pack a whammy.

Dozing in the hamlet, I could feel the collapse of space-time beneath my footsteps and heard the ellipsis of a small collection of magicians idly bathing in what seemed to be several hundred years of enchanting liquid.
As I wandered through a high-vaulted cosmological firmament, deep within the milieu of a magnificent catastrophe, I paused to admire the sloped flowerbeds.
Somehow the contemplation of these majestic air-blooms stimulated the realisation that I was dreaming. 

In the likeness of my lucid self, the already impressive splendour of the air-blooms appeared even more majestic where once they were invisible, and with great execution I began to explore the imaginary reason of why this castle in the cloud space, with all its ethereal murmurings, presented itself like pages of a codex upon which the living language of nature wrote itself.

A parabolic teaching, I thought. I could think as clearly as ever. I was in full resolution and dealing soundly in dream tones, tranquil, freely remembering the self before the two divergent footsteps fluttered into hemispheres and embedded in the database.

The inanimate seeds were dozing in the navel now, whilst upstream I came across a curious stamen protruding from the afterglow in the fading of a district down below. The substrate of this space-time swelled to fracture and at once I stood up as the vividness diminished to reveal an enormous subterranean chapel.
It was as if within the faded dithering of dawn there dwelled a creature, most curious and tormented, asleep yet perfectly aware inside this conscious refuge.

Following the twists of the stamen down I descended deeply to drench myself in dreaming more profoundly. The liquid was indeed enchanting, and the creature roused from out its slumbering mass as I approached. 
I pulled its shadow toward me and fused the twisted stamen to my navel. I strung the whole concerto of this polarity to blur me in the anima, a sloping downpour of hallucinations, a stalactite of invocations crystallised on the horizon of a single vision. 

Within the atom of a flowers poem all enquiries had been forgotten. 
The magicians still rotated mystically to what their delirium permitted, yet inside this single vision I sought yet another miasma. An idea that slept in the wingspan of the microbial imagination.

Mårble is the alias of musician and multi-instrumentalist Anton Glebov. "1691" is his first solo long-playing album after quite a long break, and this is a great comeback! The album is filled with spiritual and spaced-out jazz-inspired music, recorded mainly by Mårble all by himself in his former studio in Saint Petersburg during the years 2021 and 2022. The studio was a big inspiration for Anton. He and his friends made a really special place, where instead of their home studios, they finally had no limits and could play and record music with ease. Even the name of the album is an homage to the studio; the number of the studio's door was 1691.

At the time when the album was in the process of making, Mårble was listening to a lot of Afro-Cuban music and Latin jazz. You start to hear it from the first seconds, and it's such a unique blend of these genres and his rich musical experience and vision. "1691" is full of different moods and echoes, and yet it is a really complete work. The album starts with the track "Unified Force" and ends with "Magic", those are two "new-agy", spiritual tracks where your mind just wants to drift on the soundwaves peacefully, but in-between you get a huge variety of compositions. Each one has its own unique story that needs to be heard. Some of the tracks on the album are more intense, like "Chomga", "3th of December" or "Pedritto", where suddenly you get sounds of slightly distorted trumpet or singing in Portuguese/gibberish, and other tracks with a more relaxed atmosphere, like "Jr. Pomidor" you can almost call Balearic. Also, can't forget to mention the great work of saxophone and flute player Slavik Ipatov who has recorded parts for tracks "Boss Latinoss", "Yog Cave" and "Pedritto".

The artwork for this record was made by an artist Alisa Gvozdeva, who's been working on previous Mårble releases a lot. On the back of the "1691" vinyl record cover, you will be able to see the drawing of the studio, thanks to which the recording of this album became possible.

"1691" is a truly great and unique album from start to finish, and we hope you'll enjoy it just like we do.

Psalmody, small bells, big cymbals, gongs and drums - this puzzling collage of Tibetan Buddhist rites recordings is hypnotizing. It opens the way to the state of trance. The slight electronic arrangement still reminds that reality is not so far. The two twenty-minute tracks instantly convey an unknown and fascinating universe. Mantra chanting accelerates, horns become more insistent and a mystical atmosphere arises. With Tibetan Buddhism Trip, Akuphone starts exploring ritual and ceremonial music, here with a subtle mix of field recordings and electronic handlings.

Over the years King Gong aka Laurent Jeanneau specialized in the recording of ethnic minorities, particularly from South East Asia. He has recorded over 160 albums and his work is now largely well-known around the globe. Such an impressive collection enables him to manipulate, assemble and reconstruct his field recordings in order to create new sound landscapes. 

Recorded in Tibet and Yunnan (China) between 2006 and 2013. Recomposed in Berlin in 2016.

The area was teeming with hospitable islets of ancient forest, filled with grouping spiral patterns, separated by foamy seas of spongy stone, which, in neat curves, infused their presence into this fortunate flora...The abundance of birds and swirling insects vibrated against of an imperceptibly rising sloping mountain...In the center of which was a gaping crevice, what was giving freedom to the flow of water that was falling into the unknown, hidden green veil...

The sounds of the river, splashed with ecstatic drops...They were together...Slowly moving on their boat in this stream of non-reflective nature, periodically looking into each other's eyes, but without saying a word, in some unknown way, with glances from the outside, they contemplated their incarnations, and, perhaps, saw them for the first time without an illusion...
The waves of time beat against the sides of the boat, leaving small notches, similar to mathematical mandalas, depicting the structure of space - from the electron to the galaxy...

Nature was happy to help them and show where is impulse that forms the experience of a fundamental nature comes from and share this elixir of life...Having drained the cups, the experience of dissolving ego contributed the opportunity to finally turn the vector of attention into direction of higher dimensions...Following comprehension of unite organism, which is in constant transformation, communicating at every moment, the deeply experienced mystery of an unfulfilled future, gives an awareness of responsibility for its fate, cause only by accepting it you can hear this score of the biocosmic symphony...
