Public Alley - Live at Outpost 186

The Gown of Entry is a free-music collective of musicians based out of Boston, Massachusetts. It's members improvise off of loose compositions by each member, and poems written by their pianist, Eliot Cardinaux, among others. The other members include Alec Harper, a tenor saxophonist from London, a Chilean bassist named Simón Willson, and a drummer from Reno, Nevada: Aaron Edgcomb. Their influences include a wide array - from Boston microtonal composer and multi-instrumentalist Joe Maneri, to John and Alice Coltrane, Charlie Haden, Masabumi Kikuchi, and Ornette Coleman.
