The Graduates are a folk/acoustic duo based in Sunderland and the North East.  The 2 members consist of James Berry and Laurence Haugh; 2 musicians who regularly circuit the North East buskers nights.  They formed through a shared interest in such artists as Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles and Bob Dylan.  After consistently playing seperate sets on stage, they decided to play sets together as one act, adding harmonies, keyboard and bass guitar to their songs.
