Since 2001 the project has provided lots of sacral & esoteric ideas through audio-visual performances, music & people connected in one source of vision & the slogan: “Music for awakening consciousness”. The way of Chronos goes between ambient/ethnic influences and chillout/trip-trance vibrations. The word “Chronos” from ancient Greek language is translated as “Time”, meaning the eternity invisible by the mind engine, the symbol of our evolution. The man behind the project is Nick Klimenko, a Moscow-based musician, sound producer, sound designer, live performer & a teacher with 15 years of experience with music as a DJ, producer, radio show presenter, and more.

Greasy Monk (aka Ian King) is a Colorado native with a passion for music that extends far into the past, spanning a multitude of genres. With an approach and outlook that is characteristically unique, he brings to the table a deep curiosity to explore the depths of acoustic ecology. His familiarity with a wide spectrum of rhythm will gratify and satisfy ~ from ambient, downtempo, and minimal; reggae, breaks, dub, and drum&bass; house and progressive; to techno and trance – his selections are sure to captivate. As a musical drifter, he has a fluid and psychedelic style which is artfully tailored to each event.  His mixing is designed to move, groove, and provoke the listener to focus on and surrender to the soundscape. Entwining different combinations of deep and progressive composition with driving energy, he crafts his sets in a way that breaks down boundaries and gets your soul dancing.

In 2011 he joined Sculpted Sound Productions; Colorado's premier psychedelic music and arts collective at the time, which has since evolved into other forms in Colorado and California.
He is the co-founder of Rocky Mountain Resonance; a cooperative that aims to organize and promote interdisciplinary events, ideas, and cultural experiences through innovative and experimental mediums which is committed to building and enhancing creative processes through a melding of various aspects of sensory perception.  Rocky Mountain Resonance hosted many successful events such as Impulse Festival in 2016 and 2018, Full Moon Festival in 2019, and TechNectar Radio from 2013 to 2018.  TechNectar Radio was a bi-weekly podcast featuring exclusive live mixes from local Colorado DJs.
