Constance is an American writer and composer whose work focuses on rites of passage and the seamlessly insignificant events that lead to the cultivation of our inner lives and the perception of the world around us. She frequently uses internal monologue as a mode for storytelling and as a bridge in describing the themes of coming of age themes and transformation. 

Born in Los Angeles and raised in the suburbs of Orange County, California Constance often draws on her Black American, Hindu roots within the fabric of her stories is the combination of oral tradition, Indian folklore and Western fairytales.
