The Green Line is a band from the near West suburbs of Chicago. Green Line's main focus is on the Alternative genre but all of us come from different musical backgrounds. Devitt Conboy, the drummer, has roots in electric and alternative music and his musical biggest influences are Animal Collective and Postal Service. Matt Stein, the lead guitarist, grew up listening to Punk Rock and Blues and his favorite artists are the White Stripes and Blink 182. Jack Gallo, vocalist and rhythm guitarist, grew up playing more Folk and Classic Rock. His favorite artists are Bob Dylan, Wilco, and Ryan Adams.
