The Grunes are a group of young marvels who formed in 2012 by Harry Bateup and Zac Northey. Gradually they've been finding a sound that both suits and defines them as a band and to which covers aspects of different genres regarding their key influences, these being the likes of The Black Lips, Arctic Monkeys and Tame Impala.

Since becoming a quartet with Lachlan Mckiernan and Matt Callan, The Grunes have developed their sound allowing it to morph itself into something unique with a combination of mellow tones, dark & mysterious underlays, agile drums and eurythmic bass riffs that characterise them as a whole.
