Can one speak of sex in an innocent way? “You cannot” I’m told.

Pornography and movies have contorted the mind to desire only what is seen. To want what the eyes magnetically lean. towards. We go through sexual partners like changing underwear, and cross them out with an X without a care. eXactly what is going on here?

Love-making has become the act of pleasing one’s selfish superficial lust. And if we haven’t already noticed, it’s been a bust. As the Black Eyed Peas once said, “Where is the love?”

We make love without love, and then ask why we feel empty? Like drinking tea without tea, like a beach without sand, like a concert without a band, we are emp-ty. We’ve got no GPS, no sense of direction, so we let an erection, lead the way home. But we’re lost, and when we add up the cost, love’s become worthless. Mastercard, even that can not give us priceless.

Love-making, the art of bringing into existence something so beautiful it can only be God-made. God, the unknown, unexplainable force that binds two seemingly opposite beings into one. One, the union that is created when two bodies connect like two pieces of a puzzle. Puzzled no more. We have uncovered the truth of a centuries old mystery. Sex is more than a physical act, it is a story.

I make love everyday. Everyday I look into your eyes and see your struggle. Everyday I see the scars that life has dealt you. Everyday I see you smile in spite of the pain you have experienced. Everyday I get to know you even deeper. I make love to you.

I penetrate the inner most workings of your thoughts. Erecting new windows where there were walls. Touching your soul until you feel an orgasm in your heart. I go in deeper and deeper until I see you completely as you are. Naked and vulnerable, honest and real. And as your clothes are taken off of your mind, you allow me to see your flaws. I kiss them with words of understanding, and tell you “they’re beautiful.” We go up and down through the story of our lives, until we reach a climax… The moment we realize we have nothing left to hide.

And that is priceless.
